The Truth About Pineapple (Official Story #1)
Share
The Official Story is a lot like a brand: It's what people say when there's no one in the room to control the narrative.
Think you have a strong brand? Listen to a room talk about you that doesn't know you're listening.
Think you know the Official Story? Remove the microphones from the room and see what people say when it's just them and an anonymous piece of paper.
That's how we got to today's official story as to whether pineapple belongs on pizza.
The final verdict?
The majority says that, so long as it is well-sourced and prepared well, pineapple toppings can be a welcome addition at a party.
Some say that they've never had a slice of pizza that was made better by pineapple.
Others say that some flavor profiles are only possible with a bit of pineapple.
To each their own.
I'm still training the AI to write stories, but this was its first attempt (with no training) writing from replies of Day 1.
What do you think? Did it get the OFFICIAL STORY right?
The Perfect Slice (canon)
The oven glowed like good gossip and we let the dough breathe. Thick crust. Three cheeses. A garlic-parmesan edge that promised trouble in the best way. The table filled with real choices: the works, the classics, a bright ring of pineapple caramel where the flame kissed fruit that actually earned the invite.
No boos — just one honest shrug from a corner still waiting to be convinced.
Outside, the cool-table rulebook said “no fruit” in mirrored shades.
Inside, empty chairs made no law.
We passed plates, traded memory, built a try-everything pie for the curious, and sent the extra boxes out into the night — because a perfect slice tastes better when it finds more mouths. Afterward, the beach fire kept the stories warm.
It’s Official — the perfect slice is made together; pineapple is welcome when it shines.
